Peters Township Environmental Quality Board
Purpose
The Peters Township Environmental Quality Board advises the Peters Township Council with regard to the development and implementation of policies and programs aimed at preserving and enhancing the environment and character of Peters Township. In addition, Board members actively participate in environmental projects and programs such as the annual Peters Township Cleanup Day.
Membership
The Peters Township Environmental Quality Board consists of a minimum of five (5) and up to nine (9) members. Each member is appointed by the Peters Township Council for a four-year term.
Staff Liaison
The Assistant Township Manager shall serve as the staff liaison to the Peters Township Environmental Quality Board.
Time Commitment
The Board meets at the Peters Township Municipal Building on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. In addition, the Board members actively engage in environmental programs which occur on a few Saturdays throughout the year.
